The reason for making it was a chance to influence the final shape of the Medard lake shore line and the ground improvement within the follow up reclamation works in the eastern part of the area (from Svatava and Sokolov). It is presumed to be one of two main centres, in which location of the port, a beach entrance terminal and other related activities. Compared to the Medard Planning study and the prognosis, the study is the most detailed. It was also due to that study that the Medard final shore line was specified in more detail, particularly in the east part. Measures to give favourable conditions of the quay, beaches and other proposed activities were suggested.
